Maxwell Render 2.0

November 2nd, 2009: Maxwell Render 2.0 support announced

From now on REBUSfarm supports Maxwell Render in its newest version 2.0. Of course we are still supporting the older version 1.7.1 as well. The REBUSfarm is fully licensed and by far the biggest rendering service for Maxwell Render, so your Maxwell project can take advantage of the full power of the farm, meaning 3700 GHz or 236 render clients.

To open this offer to the Maxwell community we are having a very special promo: From 02.11.2009 to 30.12.2009 Maxwell users only pay half of the regular price, which is only 4.95 cent / GHzh instead of 9.9 cent /GHzh. Since Maxwell users benefit from the 10 EUR free trial as well, you will get an equivalent of 14 hours render time on a Intel Q6600 for free. Only that you will get your result in only a few minutes...

Feel free to test our system. Just create a new account and use the 10 EUR free trial.

REBUSfarm plugged in

November 14th, 2009: REBUSfarm plugged in

REBUSfarm presents a new and unique concept for integrating a render farm into the workflow of the 3D community.

The development of the REBUSfarm Farminizer Software gives the user full access to the power of the render farm inside their 3D application. The REBUSfarm Farminizer plugin checks the project inside the 3D software and makes sure that it conforms to the render farm, allowing an almost seamless connection to the render farm. Ideally, the user notices no difference between rendering locally and rendering on the render farm, except for the well-known speed advantage.

At the moment, 3DS Max and Cinema 4D for PC and MAC are supported. You can download the free REBUSfarm Farminizer Software here.

It is of course still possible to send us projects using FTP.

REBUSfarm goes 3700 GHz

September 21st 2009: REBUSfarm upgrades to 3700 GHz Computing Power

REBUSfarm extends its machine pool by 70 Dual XEON E5530 (2.40 GHz) with 16 GB RAM. These 140 XEON Quad-Core processors represent the best Intel CPUs currently on the market. The extremely large RAM of 16 GB protects your render-projects from time- and cost-consuming temporary storage on the hard disc drive (swapping).

Altogether our service now offers 3700 GHz (3,7 THz) or 4 mio. cinebench of pure computing power, which makes it the most powerful service of its kind worlwide.

That's why we are extending our Summer Special Deal (for a limited time only)

  • free trial, worth 10 EUR.
  • Special price of only 9.9 cent / GHzh. Starting from 3.9 cent / GHzh at a 60% discount!
